Sang, "In the Middle" by Jimmy Eat World, which I'd never done before, and really kicked ass on it.

Also did "88 Lines about 44 Women" and did okay; cool song.

I saw...half of everybody at the Merc tonight. The other half, I expect to see tomorrow. They, some of them, celebrated my un-birthday a day early, cuz they're not gonna be there tomorrow; I love my friends.

Saw people I haven't since in ages. Got way drunker than I meant to (primarily due to lack of mealing before clubbing), danced to only a tiny, tiny bit of one song. Had conversations about nothing...

Strange. I mean...most of my peeps (do I have peeps?) weren't there, but some were. I d'know. It was a good night.

There's not much better after a Mercury drunk than a BLT from Subway.

Okay, okay, the blackened chicken fettuccine at Charlies is close--and that stuff is goddam good in its own right--but with a significant amount of Mercury booze in you, a BLT from Subway is fuckin' blissful!
